It's been a year....

WOW! I haven't updated my blog in a YEAR! How sad is that?! Well, no one ever read it so it was a waste of time. So, I thought I would update it anyway.

Way too much has happened to post. But in a nutshell...

Paul is Ranger of the Year again this year and also received the Gold Trail Award for earning everything for Ranger Kids. He is now a Discovery Ranger and is enjoying that as well. He also takes Taekwondo and is in his 2nd year of tennis. He and Valerie attend Korean school and are doing GREAT! I can't believe how much they can read, speak and write already!

Valerie is the Girl of the Year for Little Belles! She also received the prize for the most box tops (417) and the prize for having the most points out of all the girls (in all 3 age groups/levels). We're a bit competitive over here! :) She is also in her 2nd year of tennis.

Paul is in 3rd grade and Valerie is in Kindergarten. This school year is proving to be very busy, yet fruitful. We're a part of a great co-op and have met some great families there. This is our 2nd year there.

Ok, that's enought for now....who knows...I may post before next year! I guess you'll have to check back to find out! ;)

Ranger of the Year

Well...it's been 2 long years of studying and working and Paul did it! He's not only the Outpost Ranger of the Year, but after today's evaluation, he's the Section Ranger of the Year! We're so very proud of him! He's proud too! He received 2 beautiful medals that he is wearing proudly! Thank you Jesus!!!! :)

Oh the excitement never ends here...

Whew! So much to update, so little time.

There's no gas anywhere and everyone is sick of it! There's like 1-2 stations for about miles and the lines are taking about 1-2 hours to get gas. Hopefully it will all be a distant nightmare that will never occur again!

We're enjoying our new homeschool group! Problem is, we're not sure if we'll be able to go this week due to lack of gas. That just stinks! So much up in the air due to the gas problem. I've been thinking about the Amish and thinking that if we were Amish, we would be laughing at everyone who is so dependent on fuel! Ahhh.....too bad I'm not Amish so I can laugh about this!

I've been crocheting and I'm trying to knit. Knitting not going well, crocheting is improving!

The kids are doing well and we're still having fun and getting things done, we're not going to let all this extra junk steal our joy. Even though it tries, I can't give in!

Where have I been?

I stopped posting because no one was reading it. But I just now found out that someone did comment back in July! Woo-Hoo!

Maybe I'll post here and there.

Adventures at the dentist...

Paul had several fillings done today and they were so impressed with how well he behaved. He loves the dentist and I was not so sure he would love the dentist after the fillings! He handled the x-rays, fillings, everything without complaint. They couldn't believe it! Oh, he hasn't lost any baby teeth yet (he's 7) and they were concerned that he may be missing some permanent ones. After they did the full x-ray, they saw that he has all of his permanent teeth and it looks like he's going to lose most of them at the same time!! AKKK! Well, he wants to lose them! HA! She said it looks like one that usually isn't supposed to fall out yet may be the first. We'll have to wait and see...

Now, Valerie on the other hand was completely out of control! Yes, I know we were there for 2.5 hours, but she started up long before that. She was ok part of the time, but she screamed and cried most of the time. She seems to do that no matter where we are. She's 4, she should be past that by now! Geez! I was supposed to get my permanent crown on, but was unable to do it due to her. So I have to go back later this week. That stinks because this temp. is bothering me.

What else...we had a very busy, but fun weekend! Bridal shower, baby shower, and I had time to myself! Woo-hoo!

I went to the park yesterday and rode 2 miles on my bike! Now...if I can keep that up! It's been difficult for me to work out the last 3 years due to me being so sick. So I'm having to slowly start back up. I've been working out about 2 times a week for about 4-5 weeks now, but then I had all these dental issues and sickness from the medicine they gave me, so that threw me off. But, I'm getting back on track.

And the prize goes too...

ME! Yes, I am the proud owner of the most boring blog! Yes, yes...stop people...no more pictures and autographs...please....I don't think I could sign one more!

I'm still trying to figure this blog out. I can post a picture, but it's in the post section. I would like to put a permanent one to the side. I would also like to fancy it all up some-but there's no way to do that free.

I'll continue to plod on...:)

Well, I guess I should whine more often! Just as soon as I finished my other post where I was all frustrated, I figured out how to put pictures from photobucket on here. I had to re-size it and all, but I'm starting to get the hang of it.

Now, to figure everything else out!
